How Important are Human Resources Forms?

Human talent and abilities have been widely recognized as one of the most critical resources businesses could have.   • Recruitment: Recruitment is the process of selecting and hiring aspiring applicants into a business’s workforce. During this process, anyone who wishes to be part of the company’s talent pool would first complete an application form before they could be screened and interviewed. The information inside the application form allows the company to create an employee profile if ever the applicant is lucky enough to become a part of the company’s workforce.
  • Employment: Anyone who is lucky enough to become part of a company’s workforce will need to fill out an employee information form. The employee information form will then be used to create an employee profile, which will then become a part of their record that the HR personnel keeps in its files. The information inside the employee profile is then drawn-out whenever an employee wishes to make a transaction with the HR department.
  • Payroll: Compensating the company’s employees is one of the responsibilities written in an HR department’s job description. It is also an HR department’s task to make sure that the employees are compensated accordingly, as well. Aside from paying the company’s workforce, the HR department also resolves any payroll disputes and other related concerns.
  • Dismissal: Aside from bringing in new talents into the company, it is also the HR department’s task to dismiss and remove them from its roster. Termination or dismissal is the last resort disciplinary action if a certain employee’s violations are subject to such action or if the violation itself is beyond toleration. However, dismissal is not always as bad as always thought, sometimes, when an employee wishes to quit for whatever reasons, it is also the department’s job to attend to such a wish and record such an exit.

Labor Strikes and How to Avoid Them

Labor is one of the three fundamental resources that move the economy as well as society. It is man’s natural tendency to work, create, and modify the environment around him that enabled his kind to build civilizations and sophisticated societies. It is also because of this innate talent that division of labor and hierarchies evolved—the thick line between bosses and workers. The line between bosses and workers further alienated man from his fellows. This is because each opposing camps have their own interests and ideals. Interests that don’t mix well together like oil and water.

They say opposites do attract. But when opposite interests and ideals meet at the wrong instance, it will surely attract trouble. Today, labor strikes and other forms of uprising continue to happen in workplaces around the world. If only business owners would learn from the mistakes that others like them did in the past, things like these wouldn’t happen to them in the first place. From delays to permanently ceasing operations, these are damages and harm that labor strikes that do to a business. Work Environment and Culture: How to Make Your Workers Happy

Like every human being, workers are motivated to be more productive if the working conditions are conducive to their personal growth and satisfaction. Thus, it should be imperative that businesses must put a priority on each and every worker’s welfare and happiness. We might be led to think that money is the primary motivator that workers work in the first place. Yes, we cannot deny the truth behind that, however, money alone is just not enough to keep a worker happy and satisfied with its job. What’s more, is that such is not sufficient enough to make them stay in the long run.

Today, fat paychecks and monetary incentives no longer attract talented individuals into companies nor enough to keep them in the long run. Gone are the days of the baby boomers where work is purely for handsome salary and climbing the career ladder of hierarchy within a company. If one must look at companies like social media songbird Twitter, for sure, a thing or two could be learned from the company that tops in making their millennial workers the happiest in the map.

Providing a positive work environment and culture for workers not only benefits them but also the company’s business as well. By giving workers space for personal growth, creativity, and innovation, it will enable the company to be more dynamic and profitable due to workers being motivated to work effortlessly. Making the company grow exponentially through a number of new things and ideas that the company and the workers create from time to time.

How do you Submit Human Resources Forms?

Employees and workers approach the human resources office from time to time. They would usually do so for a lot of reasons and for a variety of matters that they need the HR manager to decide or act upon.  Regardless of os what the reasons or matters that the employees or workers need to vent out, these would need to be written and documented in a variety of forms.

From common matters that concern the workers such as payroll adjustments to social events such as Christmas parties in the office, forms of different varieties and different purposes are needed to seamlessly address or accomplish those that are mentioned above. With that being said, there is no need for you to be shy about airing your concerns nor, any reasons to keep any suggestions you have in mind, as filling out and submitting these forms are as easy as these four steps. Written below are the ways on how you can do it.

Step 1. Visit and Consult your HR Manager

You may have an itching concern that you need to bring to your HR manager’s attention. Could it be a complaint about a co-worker or a payroll dispute, perhaps? For whatever reason it is, visiting and consulting your company’s HR manager should be your first order of business before approaching anyone from the senior management. It is that same action that others like you have done before in the past. It is during your visit that you air such pressing matter and consult the next course of action that you should do. And for that next course of action, a corresponding form may be needed for formality and documentation purposes.

Step 2. Obtain the Specific Form for the Specific Transaction

As mentioned above, a corresponding form for your next course of action, as per your HR manager’s recommendation, will be needed for formality and documentation purposes. So make sure to obtain that specific form or document before you leave the HR’s office. That form will be used by the HR manager for record-keeping, especially if it involves incidents and complaints against a fellow employee. It will then also be used to escalate such matters to the company’s senior management, depending on the gravity of the situation.

Step 3. Fill out the Form

After obtaining a form following your visit to the HR’s office, now is the time to fill it out. To get started, provide the information asked by the form on the spaces intended for them. The form will usually ask for personal information, employee number, identification number, etc. Upon writing the information on the form, make sure to write them as accurately and correctly as you can. Aside from the fields for information to be written, space may also be reserved for remarks or grievances, so make sure to answer it, as well. Lastly, don’t forget to put your signature on the signature block found on the bottom part of the form.

Step 4. Submit the Form to Your HR Office

After completing the previous steps listed above, the last thing that you should accomplish is to submit the form to your HR’s office. Submitting the form will allow the HR department to address any concern or bring the matter to the attention of the senior management, depending on the degree of seriousness or importance of the matter. Plus, it will also allow the senior management to do an investigation in the cases of violations and offenses against the company by an employee.

Looking after the workers’ well-being and providing them a safe environment and conducive place for them to do their jobs enables them to do more than what the company requires them. This due to the feeling of giving back to the place that provided them with what they needed and making them very happy during their stay in the company. As a human resources manager, it is your prime duty to see to it that the force that moves the company to its success are well taken cared of and satisfied in fulfilling their day to day roles.
