The Importance of Appraising Feedback
Within a working environment, it is important to provide objective feedback as it helps in the development of the operations and the improvement of the performance of the workforce. Though it is truly hard to give negative feedback to employees, it will always depend on how the message has been delivered or transferred from the management to the individual who is being assessed. Even if employees will have a hard time to accept a feedback that is against them, they should be able to fully embrace it and think of it as a way for them to improve and be a better part of the organization.
The process of providing appraisal feedback may not be easy but it should always be the employer’s will to provide development opportunities to the workforce that must matter. With accurate feedback, which can sometimes really be harsh, the company can have greater chances to develop programs that can positively affect its current and future operations.
